Sol Anderson

Sol Anderson grew up in the streets of North Philadelphia, and was blessed from an early age with the gift of song. He honed his skills growing up singing in the church choir with his 2 brothers. After performing in many musicals, Sol branched out with his brothers to start a singing group. The group was fairly successful and worked with well-known producers like, Vidal Davis and Andre Harris. Sol and his brothers were also given the opportunity to perform for Sean P.Diddy Combs, who was impressed by what he heard from Sols group. Due to management issues and difficulty breaking into the music industry, the group eventually parted ways. After that, Sol focused on his education, and earned his bachelors degree from Ithaca College. During his four years there, he continued his involvement in music and exercised his natural singing ability by performing in the church choir on campus. After receiving his degree, Sol enlisted into the U.S. Army. He served as an IT Specialist over in Germany and was appointed battalion choir director by his superiors, for which he received numerous awards for his talent. Sols unique sound derives from several influences such as Sam Cook, Donny Hathaway, Peabo Bryson, Jeffery Osborne, James Ingram and Brian McKnight. Sols voice is as sweet as it is powerful. Through his sultry tones, Sol Anderson will pull on your emotions as well as provide a message of truth and honesty rarely seen in the music industry today.
