My Interests

I mean, it's the latest craze, obviously, to have a split personality. Not that I like having the new fads all of the time, but this one wouldn't be so bad.). And you too...whoever you are.

Music, music, MUSIC! Got to love it. My genres tend to be a little stiff, so it's hard for me to accept something new. My typical favorite genres are techno, drum and bass, rock, alternative, and some various others, like a little rap and a small bit of country. For a list of favorites, here goes:

Television:

I haven't had cable in months, so I don't know if any new shows catch my interest, so I guess this section can stay blank. I do love to watch Stargate SG:1 and Star Trek when I get the chance.

Books:

I am getting into Ted Dekker. He's an amazing writer, who, for once, can join suspense, thriller, horror, and action, with religion. Great works, Ted! Also, I enjoy some others as well. Pride and Prejudice, Eragon, Left Behind: The Series, and The Wheel of Time series are some of my favorites. I won't say Harry Potter, though, since I stopped reading them after the fourth.

Heroes:

My heroes are my mother and my friends. My mother definitely stands in her own category, as she has had to put up with an asshole of a husband for fifteen years, now must go through with a divorce she didn't want until there was a better time (like my brothers and I all gone from the house), and still continues to support all four of us, even without Dad's help. Still, unfortunately, we still need it, but Mom is coping well with his unwillingess. I love you forever, Mom!

Also, my friends deserve attention since they can put up with my ever-constant-changing attitudes and with my stupidity. You all will always have that special place in my heart. Love you guys!
