Me and my wife Juliana make our offseason home in Ft. Lauderdale, FL...i was born in Santo Domingo, i graduated from George Washington High School in the Bronx...was named All-City in 1989, 1990 and 1991 and was the New York City Public Schools High School Player of the Year in 1991, when i batted .615 with 14 homers in 22 games...i was inducted into the New York City Public Schools Athletic Hall of Fame in October of 1999 with Bobby Thomson, John Franco, Shawon Dunston and Nate "Tiny" Archibald.
