FRONTLINE was formed in early years of 2000 when a few of hardcore music listeners try to find their path to a place called hardcore heaven...so we are trying to make the scene live and kickin'.By the influence from US old skool sound such MADBALL...SICK OF IT ALL...WARZONE... we've started to enter the studio's.In the early line-up was filled by 'wuteng'-drums...'catch up'-guitars...'adi'-bassis...'ayob'-vocals...'ijat'-vocals.W e've also cover a song from WARZONE-brotherhood & sisterhood,Social Intergration-onevoice...at that time we was seaching a suitable name that fixed for our band... so were agreed to put GROUND ZERO as the 1st name...but then were realise that theres a band from philipines who also have same name...then we've decided to change the name from GROUND ZERO to FRONTLINE...and the story continues when we was invited to played so many gig around jb and kl malaysia...after that, we have some internal problem with our band member's...when 'ijat' and 'ayob' (vocals) asked to leave this band...at the short time 'catch up' take over the vocal section...then 'Aie' joined the band as a guitars...after that we was released a 1st demo called 'friendship' we find out the sound of the demo's not really good enough to press to cd's then we used the demo's for our own good...after the recording, 'Aie' wanted to leave the band...then catch up takes his place again as a guitars...then 'gunto' joined the band as a 2nd guitars and 'nia' takes his place as a vocalist then we decided to change our music genre from old skool to a Screamin', brutal, metallic, technical,new skool,melodic hardcore...then 'adi' wanted to leave the band...we was recorded our 1st singles called world's today...and were now searching a person who can played a bass replacing 'adi'....after adi's retreating, hakim replacing his post as a bassis....now NIA is leaving us...with an unreasonable reason...but we cant do anything....so we invited Am as a vokalist replasing NIA....Layout made by IVIike at CreateBlog.com .
