About Me

Welcome, one and all, to the NEW and IMPROVED Aggressive Rhubarb MySpace page!!As some of you will know, Aggressive Rhubarb have had a MySpace page for a couple of years now (the 'Doctor Poo' link under "Friends", below). Sadly, what we didn't realise when we set that original page up, was that we had to differentiate between an individual and a band page, and sadly we chose the wrong one. HOWEVER, this has finally been rectified! Here, on this glowing new page, you will be able to listen to our music online for the very first time...if you dare!!For those who don't know us, we've been around since the late 80's, we're a bit close to the bone and we like fried breakfasts (but no tomatoes, thanks). We're British northerners who spent our formative days living on the border between North Wales and England, and consequently we have a slightly skewed heritage! Our music has been described variously as "manic", "genius", "insane", "brilliant" and "sh*te" and may or may not reflect our many and varied influences. The style has changed quite a bit over the years, depending on circumstance and temperament at the time of writing, and what we hope to do on this page is give you a snapshot of some of our best (and worst!) efforts from each period. We'll also try and explain some of the thinking behind the songs...assuming there was any!So, sit back, make peace with your God and prepare for a slightly bumpy ride...

We're supporting AFTER THE FIRE at The Cut!!

Thought that'd get your attention!  Just to clarify...we're not actually "supporting" After The Fire in the "playing live" sense - as if!  No, we'll be there to enjoy the show and to hump eq...
