Hey everyone! Thanks for taking the time out of your day to read my profile...lol! I am a 25 year old entertainer, and do tons of traveling aroung the country playing all types of venues and clubs. Although I sing and play the piano, clubs hire me mostly for my good looks ( ok go ahead and laugh, it's ok, but you know it's true). Actually I started taking piano lessons and the tender age of 8 from Kazuko Nozaki. At the time she did not speak very much english and I was her only American student she ever took in. After several years of balancing pennies on my hands to improve my technique, I found out about this wonderful thing called the radio where I had my first taste of rock and roll! After this amazing discovery, I quit my piano lessons to pursue composing. At the age of 14 I set up my keyboard every day of the week and played for tips because I was not old enough to have a job yet! After the recomendation of hundreds of people, I produced my first CD titled 9th Street,which to this date has sold thousands of copies. Shortly after the success of my first album I produced two more titled Journey and Holiday Classics. After going to college for dance I had a brief stint in the U.S. Army. Needless to say, the Army was not my cup of tea. Little did I know that a few years later I would meet my friends and mentors Mark Andert and Kris Whiteneck, who introduced me to the concept of dueling pianos. Leaving for Mishiwaka, IN. in August 2005, I have toured all over this great country playing in hundreds of clubs and venues everywhere from Reno, NV to Pittsburgh, PA. Since my first show I have fallen in love with performing, and plan to do so for the rest of my life (and in the after-life if God lets me!). I was given the opportunity to record a demo last year in Reno, NV and am very glad to now have some of my current materiel available to the public. The demo (produced by Garrett Raffinelli(PYRO)) can be listned to at my myspace music page (search MIKE STARR). Currently I am employed full time at Ft. Walton beach Howl at the Moon and enjoy sharing the stage with some of the most talented individuals in the business. I want to thank God, Family, and Friends for allowing my dreams to become reality and am thankful for every show that I am given the opportunity to play in. Thank you for YOUR support!
