One Ton Drunk

When you add booze, reefer, two maniacal brothers,and a skinny shithead you get One Ton Drunk! Born on the West Hill between Brookfield, Ohio and Sharon, Pennsylvania. One Ton Drunk decided there was too many heavy metal and hardcore bands, and with no punk rock insight we decided to break the area mold! Growing up on The Ramones, The Accused, Cryptic Slaughter, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Misfits and well the list goes on and on. It just didnt seem right to stay with the local norm. The band began amid two good friends, Dave (Mac Vicious) Lacey, and Harley (Spoony) McElrath. The idea was brought up when we got sick of all the heavy, replicated music in our area. We yearned for SPEED, not heavy. So we started looking for band members. In 1995 I (Spoony) had two classmates from Trumbull County Vocational School,come out to our town and try to put something together with Dave. So we started writing music together with our new bassist and drummer, Steve and Mike. Things went this way for about 9 months, until Dave and I decided it wasnt working with these two. They just wanted to play to complicated flashy riffs. Dave and I were in agreement that, that is not what we were looking for. So with that we went our separate ways. Dave and I were reluctant to find a new drummer, that is until Dave's brother Brian (The Master of Disaster), came home from college. We asked Brian to join and thats the rest of the story as far as the band mates go.So listen and enjoy.
