Primarily constituted by the East Malaysians and a couple of Westsiders, these pop passionate quintet met and formed a composite. They call themselves EqualStar. The only reason they were brought together because of the dreams they share, of being a great performer; a star.
Molded only in the early 2007 with performing milleu, with their ardor for what they do, this quintet was a participant of the reality television show, Gangstarz. However, with diminutive luck on their side, they didn't manage to get throughout and it ended their journey in Gangstarz as participants. But that didn't stop EqualStar on achieving their goals.
EqualStar has been busy with photoshoots, shows and performances in and out of Kuala Lumpur. And surprise! They'll be releasing their first single very soon, titled Ku Syok Kat Dia. The catchy infectious ode will certainly tarry in your head!
The name EqualStar came up, because these quintets feel that they are equal in all aspects, and they plug away as one. To them, no one could be the leader, do it together and stick as one. If one falls, all fall together.
Only to have met each other with the participation of Gangstarz, each member call themselves acquaintances. As they grew as a group, they're now practically family. With the same devotion towards R&B, soul, ballad and pop, they still stand tall.
And it doesn't stop here.
