Greetings, We are The New Age Classics. We are a live hip hop band, from Worcestershire in the UK.
The N.A.C started out with just Billy Whizz (Bill Saint) and His Freshness (Paris Laurentus), in summer 06.
Paris wanted to be a drummer in a live hip hop band, spent all day long thinking of people he knew that would be interested, after a lonnnnng and tiring hour of searching, he sent an email to everyone he knew wondering if they were interested, only getting a single reply off a friend of his brothers, Bill.
Paris & Bill met up a few times to discuss other band members and a band name. Paris used to be the drummer in a worcester based metal/hardcoreband (not to be mentioned), with on of his best friends Shane, who plays guitar and has a great singing voice, Shane agreed to take part in the band we later named The New Age Classics
So, now they needed a vocalist. after much thought and the stress of looking for a decent lyricist, Minty Fresh (Paris) surprised the group with maaad rhyming skillz haha!
Finding a drummer was the easiest of tasks, Shane knew a guy who he was in a college band with named Jack, he is crazy, like actually tapped...
A full band was formed, never practiced, with only one song with a structure finished... when Bill decided to use us for his FMP (Final Major Project) for his college course and booked us into the college recording studio.
The song they have on this profile was freestyled by Jack the drummer on the day, but dont let it put you off seeing them live.
After this not alot was happening due to shanes busy schedule and Paris being busy..or something, i forget. So Whizztopher spoke to Shane and Paris to ask if he could use the "New Age Classics" name for a band he had started with raver cockney geez LT. To add further to this line up Gaz Roberts also a friend of Bills and Will Jones were added to make a new yet different NAC. Shane and Paz are part of Slick now and currently we have no beef :D lol
and we will have more recordings up soon :)
