Laughing Purple Flames of Love

I'm drummer Jeff Bennison formerly from the pop punk band The Goops (a few years ago!). Our album Lucky was released on Reprise/Warner Bros/Kinetic records back in the '90's. Our videos were on MTV and on Beavis and Butthead. We also had our cover of the song Build Me Up Buttercup in the Kevin Smith movie MALLRATS.I've toured all over North America with a few different bands and in 14 European countries with James Chance & The Contortions. At one time or another, I have opened up for the bands Radiohead, Garbage, The Offspring, Rancid and Henry Rollins, as well as many others.Some of the music on this site I recorded with a band called St. John's Alliance. I think it's some of the best examples of studio work that I've done (16 track Studer with 2 inch tape!). There are also some demos I did with my friend Schlichter last year that I like.I recently moved back to PA and I'm gigging with some bands locally and in NJ & NYC.Please check out my work and get in touch if you like what you hear.
