About Me
Born in London bred in teeside working out of birmingham,
My Outlook is total muso, don't care what it is, if it's done properly i'm into it, I started playing the piano aged twelve and neverlooked back (occasionally think i should've but never for long). I started my proffessional career with the help of John Potter RIP and Mike Mcgrother (worlds wildest fiddler) and at the tender age of 16 was swept away into a world of pubs and curry houses, at 17 I was asked to join King pleasure and the biscuit boys and buggered off to Birmingham to begin life on the road,
I spent the next ten years learning how to play properly and drink improperly and eat mostly, whilst also reading and nurturing arranging skills and writing songs buying hammond organs and pianos.
I left the world of king pleasure 7 years ago and began focusing on the projects that I cherish today.
I am very pleased and consider myself lucky to be involved in the projects that I work with and although juggling the gigs can be intense at times, I can't imagine life any other way!
I am currently playing with; the fabulous and to be frank genius that is Roy Wood, you must go and see him perform next time he passes your town or country as few musicians if any I have worked with can match his energy and ability!
I alsowork with Imelda May, dublins finest RnB Vocalist, Bernie Marsden from Whitesnake, The Michael Roach Band, the Palookaville Burlesque Orchestra, Sophie Garner and the New breed, James O hara, Jimmy thomas, BobbyParker, George 'Jackie' Lee (ex wilson Picket), and my own trio.
I have worked with many more artists and will list them all when I get some time to ponder, Van Morrison, Angela Brown, Steve Gibbons, Clarence Frogman Henry, Paul Corry, The Five Keys, yawn..........
