housewife

housewife is an on-going solo project of adam strahl. The music blends pop, indie-rock and accoustic sounds into what i call "noisylovesongs". adam has played in the great nyc bands :hotsocky, John Wolfington, faker, open sky separators, redeye and deadearth. The debut album "tenderspot" was recorded in Memphis at the legendary Easley studios, before it burnt down, by Doug Easley, Davis McCain and Stuart Sikes. The newer material is a raw, melodic soundscape...full of distorted guitars, crappy drum machines and memorable lyrics.
