poetry and any form of artistic self expression really
If I could meet anyone in time dead or alive it would be:
Martin Luther King so I can draw from his wisdom and strenght.
Malcom X so I could ask him where his courage came from.
Harriet Tubman so I could learn from her experiences and count my blessings.
Mya Angelou and Langston Hughes because they're two of the most brilliant poets ever.
If there were any song to sum up my mellow mind state or my natural calm spirit it would either be the instrumental to "You Got Me" by The Roots and Erykah Badu or the instrumental to OutKast "Aquemni". Music will always be my 1st love. here are some of my favorite hip hop artists
Jay Z- I dont care what you say Jay Z is one of hip hops greatest! Yall cant deny tha boi! The Blueprint, Resonable Doubt, the Dynasty and of course the Black Album are all my favorites.
OutKast-Ten years long, ten years strong always managing to reinvent themselves and make music that will have heads bobbin for years! southernplayalisticcadilac musik forevah!
Tupac-Words cant describe what he did for hip hop. Much love to one of our fallen soujahs. They always manage to silence the revolutionaries!
Biggie-We will nevah forget him, his music lives in us forevah!
The Roots-Their music has always and will always be in my heart. I find Questlove's drums intoxicating and Blaq Thought comes hard with the lyrics...I dunno why they get slept on like they do. Things Fall Apart and Prenology are my favorite albums.
T.I.- I love the way he bounced back from that lil contraversy or whateveah, he came back strong and made hip hop take notice. I love urban legend and that new KING shit never leaves my CD player
Ludacris-He seeems to bring a little more heat on each album he does and he keeps his music comin, plus I admire the way he came up all independent on his own he's a businessman. And he can act CRASH was one of the best movies I've seen in a minute.
Method Man-I've always loved his music and he just seems like he'd be hella coo to kick it wit yah know. Much love to the whole WU crew
Fat Joe- Joe just got this swagger that you cant deny, I got hooked on him after the JOSE album and I been a fan ever since. I love the Loyalty album

The way he shoots his movies is excellent and I always loved his use of forshadowing and suspence.
I think that The Twighlight Zone is one of the best shows ever. I have a couple of the dvd sets that I love to watch on rainy days. Even tho its old I like it because of the twisted plots and moral value. I also loved the Cosby Show and Good Times. I miss the citcom days and I feel like reality TV has gone too far even though I do get sucked into making the band and top model every season.
I just got done reading a book called My Soul to Keep by Tanaritve Due. It was amazing one of the best books I've ever read. Of course The Coldest Winter Ever by Sistah Souljah is another favorite. I love Omar Tyree and Jerome Dickey.
My mother is my hero for raising 3 kids on her own! Otherwise see my who I'd like to meet list...
