MzLele, up-and-coming, self-proclaimed, “First Lady of Da ‘Sipp”, is a female lyricist, free-styler, and emcee. MzLele, born Telia Bowman, grew up in the rough “Brignal” community of Brookhaven, MS. She began singing in the church with her family. She uncovered her talent for free-style rapping at the age of 15. After years of realizing music was her passion and destiny, she began recording demos with her older brother in their home studio. Growing up around drugs and gangs only made her stronger in knowing which route not to take. MzLele has a somewhat Ladylike appeal meaning, She act like a lady and think like a Hustler. She's on a constant grind and will continue this journey until Mississippi gets the respect it deserve.
