I am a cantankerous old philosophy professor. I have a grumpy, dyspeptic disposition and spend most of my free time reading antediluvian (Look it up!) volumes on ancient Greek grammar. This is an avocation of inestimable value. Should you lack proficiency in the conjugation of Greek verbs, or not regard Greek grammar as the very pinnacle of delight, I should consider you unworthy to scrub my scullery floor.
