We've got a new guitar player so Bob is able to sing like Jeniffer Lopez but without the butt. The new guitar players name is Bas and will perform for the first time at the gig on the Museumplein in Amsterdam. Come and check out this new dude! (extra info: Most of the time he wears two pairs of underpants! Maybe you can find out why cause we really don't know!)
Since 2002 The Hangouts are students of the Barlaeus, A high school in Amsterdam.(that's why we're called Barlaeus Punx)
It all started in 2005, the year we started with rehearsing at Rocksupplies.
We've played a lot of shows since then and made two crappy CD's with a Laptop and a built in mic. The CD's were called "Cannons of Capitalism", and "Rennen lul!". We always say we just play punk, but you should just list
en to our music and think whatever you want about it. If anarchopunk means something in this world, our music can be called anarchistic.
We just recorded our first (real) Album called 'Reason's Falling Down' and it will soon be available. We hate the mainstream music/money business and play anywhere you want us!
