JuntBoy represents Nashville, Tn a.k.a Cashville, Ten A Key. Born and raised in the ville Junt has been involved in music on some level since the late 90’s. He was originally signed to GHL/DirtyBoy Entertainment where he was one of the most recognized artist on a label that included 9 other members. After parting ways with GHL/DirtyBoy in 2003, he released a compilation with another local Nashville rapper, Scar-Devil, called StreetKingz Vol.1. This cd featured artists such as Pistol, Lil Myron, Chyne and Kie-lo of the Heat Committee among others. It was also around this time that Junt begin to take the art of production serious. Again feeling the need to go in another direction Junt reconnected with another former GHL/DirtyBoy artist Snake, now known as Young Reese. Together they started 2 Hood Entertainment. Along with being the co-ceo, Junt is also the in house producer and engineer. Today Junt is not only bangin out beats for 2 Hood Entertainment, but also for other local and regional acts in the south such as Hess Scales and Cashville Connect. While their have been many setbacks along the way, including legal problems and the theft of equipment, nothing has stopped JuntBoy’s grind. Today he is one of the most respected underground producers in the game because he challenges all artists who step into his studio to step outside of their comfort zone and truly create something great, and that is the sign of great producer, and JuntBoy is the next great hip-hop producer.
