Alessio was musically formed between classical and 60’s rock music. He matured his own musicality after various experiences with different groups.In 1980 he recorded his first album “A Proposito di Me” with CBS, with whom he also participated at “DiscoVerde” and “Festivalbar”.In 1982 Alessio participated in the Domenca In competition “Tre Voci per San Remo”. He reached the finals along with Tiziana Rivale and Giorgia Fiorio with the song “Questo Fare a Meno di Te”.In 1983 Alessio participated at San Remo with the song “Scatole cinesi”.In 1985 Alessio signed a contract with Durium for the single “Certi Giorni”.In 1987 with the independent label “Clou Disque” distributed by EMI, Alessio records the album “Naufragando”.In 1990 with the same label Alessio records the album “Alessio Colombini”.In 1992, for De Agostini, he composes the sound track of the video encyclopedia “Gioia di Conoscere”.Also in 1992, under the label “Radio Italia Solo Musica Italiana” he releases the album “Ci Sono Momenti”.In 1993 he is contacted by Gianfranco Funari to do the sound track for his TV program, which he does until 1997. As an opening for these programs he puts into music and words the news of the day taken from headlines of the newspapers.At the moment, besides composing and writing songs, Alessio puts on his show “BEAT GENERATION” – a musical trip thru the 60’s - generations without boundaries, remembering dates, songs, moments and highlights of those years with an acustic guitar and a harmonica.
