La Box & Phil met each other in 1999 in the South of France, while performing a new style of swimming at the municipal swimming-pool, the breast-heel-flip-switch stroke.
At the beginning, their friendship was mainly founded on their common passion for the collection of butterflies from Burkina-Faso died between 1964 and 1984. But once having developped a patent, under the trademark "MilkShook", a recovery drink after big nights out, they promised each other to spend all the royalties to get Daft Punk playing at their house. After several months of this business, they began to learn music by integrating the High Mexican Banjo Academy and were called instantaneously "The Incredible Footy Frenchy Gringos" due to their brilliant way to play banjo in tongs. There's no doubt that both have interesting talents and very useful passions in common but Noise Protokol couldn't be what it is without knowing the sosie of the white reggae singer Pierpoljak and a former football star Luc Sonor. After few years of parties, drinks, girls, and travels, they decided to produce their own music. They'd like their music being joyful and smily ! Hope you gonna like it !!
