About Me

wow!!! where to begin huh??? well im toi starr and to be perfectly honest i always knew that singing would be my ministry; it is my life! the enemy has put many stumbling blocks in my way but nevertheless i have perservered. well i guess i should give you all a little background on myself huh?! well i started singing in church at a young age, mostly in children's church. in my teens a youth choir was formed and i absolutely loved it! because of that youth choir i got closer to CHRIST; the closer i got the more the enemy fought me. last may my uncle passed away and it was then that i knew that music was what i wanted to do. i got an audition with a gospel artist named brent jones; needless to say i didnt make the group! one of the producer's called me the next day and told me the bad news BUT he told me that he wanted to work with me all the while proclaiming that i was a star! hence the name TOI STARR!!! i started recording and working with the 3 most amazing producers a girl could ever ask for!! everything is not perfect, and im not to the full destiny that GOD has for me YET, but i know its on the way!!! i'll keep prayin and believing GOD for you, and you do the same for me!!! if you need some encouragement hit me up and i'll hook you up!!! i love you all...take care!!!"pressin combs & nappiness" -toi *starr*
