Landon Blood is a 10 year veteran of the music scene, playing all over the U.S. A Louisiana native, he has been feaured in Blues man Quarterly and many other local and national music rags. L.D. Blood has also played with regularity on many Louisiana and Texas radio stations, including the blues stations on both XM and Serius radio. In addition to radio play, he has also played along with many national acts, including Blue Oyster Cult, Guy Davis, Dallas Livingston, and the late Gordon Nighthawk. Learning the Delta Blues while living in Mississippi, he began playing at the Ground Zero blues club in Clarksdale, (owned by the actor Morgan Freeman) he quickly became a mainstay of the Mississippi blues circuit. After learning all he could in his stay in Mississippi, he moved to work at the Conservitory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Mesa, Arizona, where he contributed to the recordings of many now famous artist. When the Arizona sun became too hot for Cajun Blood, he moved to Texas where he was soon signed by the upstart Blast records, (label of the Texas legends The Otis Jones Project) Now back in Louisiana, Blood is working on his latest album and touring back in his bayou home, bring his own unique style to the southern states.
