LIFE412 is a community of young adults whose sole purpose is to glorify God through an active and interactive lifestyle. Founded on 1 Timothy 4:12, LIFE412 strives to actively engage young adults in worship, service, fellowship and discipline.
LIFE is a ministry of Christ Church Nashville and is led by Pastor Maurice Carter. After graduating with a degree in Music and Biblical Studies from Mid-America Christian University Pastor Maurice went into full time music ministry; ministering with Maurice Carter and The Standard across the nation. After becoming the Trinity Broadcasting Network Worship Leader for “Praise The Lord” he continued his travels throughout the country and abroad. Pastor Maurice has been part of Christ Church since 2001. Immediately upon joining Christ Church he got plugged in using his talents and gifting in music becoming a singer and songwriter for the renowned Christ Church Choir. He is also a published songwriter for Daywind Music. Following his ordination in 2006 he enthusiastically accepted the position as Pastor over the Singles and Young Adults Ministry. “My true desire is to ignite the passion that already lies in the lives of these young adults; reminding them of the call that the Word of the Lord places on us to go into all the world and preach the gospel,” Pastor Maurice explains. “It’s not about their age; it’s about their witness and testimony. I want to empower these young adults to bring life to their world, their spheres on a daily basis;” he continues, “I want their positive lifestyle to be contagious.”
LIFE412 Worship is a very real, genuine concern for the lives of the worshippers involved. Using the God given talents of singers and musicians whose heart is after leading these young adults into the throne room of God, we strive for excellence while maintaining a sensitive atmosphere where true worship can occur.
LIFE412 Service is serving the needs of young adults on and off campuses and in the work force in practical and sensible ways with the desire to ignite a contagious worship lifestyle. Being the hands and feet of Jesus wherever we go and to whomever we encounter, whether in our city or abroad.
LIFE412 Fellowship inspires communication and activity that encourages the spiritual, physical and mental health of the LIFE412 community.
LIFE412 Discipline is the encouragement to the believer and a witness to those who are seeking. Including small groups, Bible studies, and services it is our dedication to the growing of character and spiritual maturity.
It is our prayer that LIFE412 is a place of authenticity where young men and women find direction and fulfillment in the goodness and the greatness of God. It is our desire that every part of LIFE412 is equipped to be examples in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity wherever life takes them for the glory of Jesus Christ.
