Began in music at age of 8 learning spanish classic guitar at Cevaz. His musical influences began with The Beatles and continues with progressive rock such as Genesis, Pink Floyd, Marillion, Rush, Enchant, Liquid Tension and some alternative bands like Oasis, Tear For Fears, The Police, Soda Stereo, Radiohead, AC/DC,etc. In 1991 continues studying guitar at Yamaha Learning Centre at Maracaibo directed by his mentor Renny Diaz. During that season, he participated in a spanish classic guitar group, representing music institution as one of the guitarist, performing at some local theatres and arenas in the city. A couple of years after, 1999, decides to learn electric guitar techniques by himself, improving his musical horizons. He was part of an alternative rock band called "Signos" as lead guitarist for two years, representing for himself his first steps as guitarist and co-leader of a band. In feb 2001, he became bassist and backing volcals of an alternative rock band playing on live shows in different pubs and discos of the town, participating in Local Band Festivals, Radio programs as Show de las Naciones in LUZ FM, and Tv Show such as Televiza. On August 2004, Alejandro leaves that band and decides to form a new project til nowdays is called "Estigma" a group formed by four talented young musicians and performers, as director, lead guitarrist and vocalist, exploring the best of british and american rock playing some covers of Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Oasis, The Police, Genesis, etc. Meanwhile he improved his guitar skills by taking lessons with Juan Pablo Lobos and David Lambo, excellent and well known guitarists .In 2005, Estigma became one of the bands involved in Cevaz Rock & Pop Music Festival and Saint Patrick..s Day Live Performance celebration performing for the first time his own songs "Princesa Medieval", "Lonely Teenager" and "Wake Up Again". On the other hand, this venezuelan musician, was called to be part of Fedora..s band a local artist known by his new cd (www.fedora.com.ve) giving him the chance to play in huge stages like Banco Mara on Jun 06, French Music Festival at Sambil Convention Centre and some important pubs of the city. Alejandro leaves his country Venezuela and moves out to U.S.A to improve in music business. Nowadays, he is Department Manager for Guitar Center Corporation in Englewood, Colorado, U.S.A. On the other hand, composing new songs in English and Spanish and instrumental pieces, you will enjoy them shortly on his first solo album called "On My Own".
