The Local Music Show happens every wednesday from 9 until 11pm on WCBN 88.3 FM in Ann Arbor, MI. You can also listen online at http://www.wcbn.org. The show is hosted and curated by Jason Adam Voss features live bands performing in the studio most weeks. Alex Belhaj is the house engineer.
We feature independently produced music at every level and all styles from Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti and also from other parts of this great state of Michigan. WCBN has a diverse and expansive collection of local music spanning 30 years as well as hundreds of hours of recordings of live music performed over the air.
We hope to provide an inclusive and comprehensive overview of local music and to provide a sort of window into various hyperlocal musical subcultures, so if you are a local musician by all means contact us and we will get your music on the air.

Band Members: Historical hosts of the Local Music Show include Dan Banda, Chris Tusciuk, Saramin, Jason Voss, Dustin Krcatovich, Brendt Rioux & Sarah Stedman. Currently and for the foreseeable future, Jason Voss is the weekly host with Jake Merkin as the live music engineer.
