J-Prime's Biography. Real name Jeffrey Largent...Born out of Anaheim, CA... Came to Ohio in 91. Through the Ninety's J Prime listened to artists like Do or Die, Outkast, 3-6, and Bone. Through inspiration of his boy Stylez, he started making music toward the end of the decade. Shipping out for the Military in late 98, Prime would come home on leave here and there to get in the studio. Returning home in 2004, J Prime began producing music and stood up his own studio called VitalPhaze Productions. Artists like Stylez & LB, Black & the Omerta, Atrophe, Knowledge, G-Mo, Monsta, and Marcya to name a few have found themselves in the booth recording hot tracks in the studio.
Prime being a go getter, on top of being an Air Force Recruiter, attends the University of Akron for Electrical Engineering. Besides being a producer, recording engineer, and an artist, he also has took on the video production side of things as well, as he actively films music videos, weddings, and special events. VitalPhaze Productions has also put out a few radio advertisements for car dealerships. J Prime is unrelenting when it comes to getting done what it is that he needs to get done.
