Lauren Falls

Lauren Falls began her musical journey as a young lass in the small town of Port Alberni, BC,Canada ,growing up with two music teachers as parents. Starting at the wee age of 4 she picked up a violin and tickled a few ivory keys and eventually found her way to her true love, the Bass. They have been together ever since. Lauren is currently attending The Manhattan School of Music in New York. Lauren has studied with several well know musicians such as John Clayton, Don Thompson,Pat Labarbra and many others. In 2006 she was selected to participate in the IAJE Sisters in Jazz group. Last year she was selected to participate in the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead program in Washington,DC as well as the Steans Institute at Rivinia.
