About Me
Team Necessary is a group of guys that got together to build a Toyota FJ into a Stock mini class, Baja 1000, racecar. Toyota decided that we should be included in the TV show that they had started production on. "Two Roads To Baja" was born. We were pitted against a full blown factory sponsored race team, left to find our own sponsors and with very little help from Toyota we made a go of it. The team consisted of seven of us. Kevin Necessary, team owner, car builder and driver. Russ Stoddard, car builder and navigator. Tim "Hot Rod" Sutton, car builder and pit crew chief. Darin Necessary, driver. "Big Jim" Inglis, transportation, "paint" and all around "prank monkey". Napper Tandy, navigator. Hans Hanson, pit crew.
