I've been involved in music since I was little. My ma taught music in elementary school. My gramps played violin for 75 years. My dad was a tenor who used to sing opera. I've been immersed all my life.I sang my way through high school. I sang my way through college. I sang my way into university. I've been in folk bands, rock bands, cover bands and originals. I've been the front woman, I've been back-up. I studied jazz in university and that changed the direction of my musical interests.Now I still sing jazz. I've played in Jazz festivals. I've opened for some amazing musicians that no one has ever heard of. I have a trio and we are committed to being the best damn band we can be.What I really want to do is find a DJ or computer-music-geek that wants to put my work to beats. This is who I am looking for. I have a beast of music living inside and she needs to get out or she will start destroying my furniture...
