I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My personal mantra is "empower people to lead a better life." My vision is to see "a world in which people are fully empowered and are utilizing all their resources to empower others for a better life." That's why my mission is to "empower people with knowledge, skills, wisdom and resources that will enlighten, encourage, equip, embolden and enable them to embody the better life." When all is said and done, I'm an inspirational speaker/teacher. I inspire people to pursue their full potential in life. I have worked in the non-profit world. Now I lead a perambulatory existence as a: speaker at high school, college, non-profit and business functions, character coach for local schools, blogger, volunteer, author, and entrepreneur.
I have a passion for living and experiencing what I have come to call, "The Better Life", a life whose true foundation is in the Basic Instructions for Better Life Empowerment. I define this as a life of personal growth and a commitment to embodying higher principles that elevate one's level of existence. It also means living beyond myself and empowering others to live this better life. You can learn more about this at www.betterlifecompany.com. One of my passions is writing. My writing is non-fictional. Here are my first three books:
.. Click and Get the Books ..

Alternatively, you can acquire each of my books for only US $ 14.99 by sending your payment directly to me. That's an unbeatable savings of over 25% on the cover price!! In addition to this, there is free shipping if you buy all three books (only US $ 44.99 - saving you more than $ 15.00 if you bought the books through the links above! WOW! ). Message me for the mailing address. Now, if that's not a SWEET DEAL! , then what else is?

If you have an event and need a speaker, Herman is your quintessential speaker. Born and brought up in Kenya, a third-world country, Herman speaks four languages and started learning English at age 14. He is a low-maintenance guy (well, would you expect a speaker from a third-world country to be high-mainetenace?) and brings a fresh perspective to many topics, injecting his speeches with examples from his life, African quotes and anecdotes and ancient/traditional Kenyan insight that empowers people. He had to overcome many barriers to come to the US and has had a variety of leadership experiences that have greatly elevated his contributions to society.
