One of my FAVORITE organizations is The Cambodia Land Mine Museum NGO( www.CambodiaLandMineMuseum.org ). I had the fortunate opportunity to visit the old facility over a year ago; however a much-needed larger space has just been opened recently !! This beautiful new facility in Cambodia would not exist largely without the financial support of Los Angeles-based writer and director Tom Shadyac (Evan Almighty, Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar, The Nutty Professor, Ace Ventura) and several supporters of Aki Ra, his family, and his de-mining and humanitarian efforts !!

:: Earth Angels Canine Rescue Organization ::
For our furry, domestic, 4-legged friends (that wag their tails, that is !), one organization that is near and dear to my heart is Emelinda Narvaez's Earth Angels Canine Rescue Organization of NYC . Emelinda has been rescuing dogs for over 41 years and placing them with wonderful families in the tri-state area. If you live in NYC or are ever in the neighborhood, stop by and support us (or at least pet our pooches) !!
