Very Metal

Taking their name from the chaotic 80’s British sitcom, “The Young Ones” (the slogan that appeared on the back of confused genre punk Vivian’s jacket), how could Very Metal be anything but anarchic, crazy and damn right loud and rude to boot? Whipping up a devastating conjunction of early UK punk rock and Hardcore, this bunch of reprobates from St. Louis, walk it like they talk it. There isn’t any middle ground, it’s all the way or nothing. They’re here for one reason and one reason alone, to crush anything that gets in their way and have a damn good time whilst they're doing it. Sounding like (and having previously been compared to) an unholy concoction of Motorhead, The Necros, The Cro-Mags and Exploited (with an added does of Methamphetamine) Sadly,the band has broken up. Pat McCauley is now fronting the thrash band HEAD ON COLLISION.
