I'm still just your typical out-of-college bachelor, 22 years young, will be 23 on August 23, currently working at the Press & Sun-Bulletin in Binghamton, New York. I work nights AND weekends -- I know you're super jealous. Basically, I make the newspaper you see every day, help put together pressconnects.com every night, and do various other odd jobs around the newsroom.
I'm from Long Island, but I don't have the silly accent that everyone thinks I would. I'm also not rich or super stuck-up -- whoda thunk it?
I'm sort of athletic; I like frisbee, football, soccer, softball/baseball, etc. I'd love to play tennis every day if I had the chance. You can also spot me walking around the city of Bing during the day, blaring my iPod at near-dangerous levels, when it's nice out.
My addiction seems to be writing. I've got a personal blog here and a professional blog there . You may have seen my face in the Press & Sun sometime -- yeap, I'm that guy.
So how else do I pass the time? Lately, I've been teaching myself how to cook, playing with our cat, fiddling with my new laptop and trying to catch up on a lot of old movies I've fallen behind on. I also like hanging out in the mall, watching sports, trying to sing in Rock Band, watching The Office, The Mole and Stephen Colbert, drinking a cold one or two, and yearning for a real job so I can buy a better car.
At this point, I'm pretty much resigned to being single for the rest of my life, which sort of sucks. I managed to earn a pretty shitty reputation in college and can't seem to shake it, but I'm really not a bad guy. Plus, I live in the sweetest apartment in Binghamton and have a car. Oh yeah, and I like long walks on the beach. ::sigh::
Girls really confuse me sometimes with how they only seem to like guys that walk all over them and disrespect them. I was always raised to treat girls with respect, and I'm getting really frustrated with certain people's inability to treat women the right way.
