Power corrupts play old school punk mixed with ska and dub from Sheffield. Heavily influenced by punk bands like Dead Kennedys, Poison Idea and Circle Jerks but also a lot of ska, dub and reggae like The Upsetters, King Tubby and The Specials.
The band formed after the demise of War Against Reason in 2003 and switched names as with the line up but has kept their DIY ethics and socially conscious lyrics.
Our new split 7" with Big Difference is out now! COP THAT SHIT!! It's released through Pain of mind (Germany) Bad luck Records (UK) and Beanhead Hardcore.
