I enjoy watching independent and foreign films. My mind is always enlightened by their unique and extraordinarily elaborate stories, with well written dialogues and not to mention their unconventional actors. It is not surprising that independent and foreign filmmaking often takes place outside of Hollywood. Films that I have seen recently and thought were great: Under the Idependent/Foreign films category: "La Vie en Rose", "Two Days in Paris", "Broken English", and the most outstanding foreign film of the year by far would have to be "Ones". (Remember, this is only my point of view.) P.S. I believe it's still playing in select theaters in Orange County, CA
