I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I believe in total honesty, I’ll never lie to you, I have zero tolerance for lies and liars. I may BS you, maybe avoid the question (“Honey, does this outfit make my butt look big?” “Darlin’ you make anything look good.” (even if it does make your butt look big)), but I’ll never lie to you, I’m too much of a man to play that crap. I’m a true Southern Gentleman, definitely one of the good guys, but still just enough of a rogue to keep you on your toes. Think of Rhett Butler with a bit of Hank Jr.: I say grace, and I say ma’am, if you ain’t into that, frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn. I believe in romance, passion, and chivalry, I know how to open doors, pull out chairs, slay dragons, and make you feel like the lady you are, I also know how to make you feel like the woman you are in ways that most other guys can’t even comprehend; most other guys don’t have a clue, luckily for me. I am a Christian, after all God has done for me I believe that I need to do more for Him than warm a pew with my behind on Sunday morning, but like the Apostle Paul said in Acts I am a man “of like passions as you.” I’m also like the line from the Styx song “You better hold on tight, I’m a ravenous man.” A lot of women need to be ‘pursued’ and I’m ok with that up to a point, but I believe in equal rights; if you want me you’re also going to have to do some of the pursuing. I’m not that easy.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I am looking for friends (you can never have too many), but at the same time I’m also looking for one special “partner in crime” with whom to spend the rest of my life. So if you are an attractive, accomplished woman who believes that you have the intestinal fortitude to hang with me, drop me a line. WTH, it doesn’t cost anything . . .

Check out my Humor Page.
Or better yet, check out my BLOG/POETRY ARCHIVE !!!

The difference between Stupididy and Genius
is that Genius has its limits . . . Albert Einstein
I debated about whether or not to display this here, especially the spiritual gifts part, because some people will think I am being boastful. Quite the opposite: I have a keen awareness that I did nothing to earn these gifts, and have a deep responsibility to develop and to use them for God's honor and glory. Jesus said: For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. Luke 12:48. After prayerful consideration I decided to include it all here so that people can truly know me to be what He created me to be, and to remind me to remember what Paul wrote to Timothy: Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:6-7.
But then again, MySpace is all about blatent self promotion . . .

She Walks in Beauty, Not By Sight

I read somewhere recently that when a woman sees a man for the first time, she instinctively within a few seconds makes a decision whether she wants to have sex with him or not.  I don't believe ...
