About Me

************************************************************ **********************************DJ Lady Staliet was born in 1987 at the Port-Of-Spain General Hospital On May the 15th on the beautiful twin island of Trinidad and Tobago. She grew up not to far from her nations Capital, Port-Of-Spain in a city called Diego Martin. DJ Lady Staliet began listening to Different music genres from a very young age, but even before then she would see her older boy cousins and their friends mixing music from 2 small cassette players and a broken up mixer and it was there the curiosity about Dee Jaying began. By the time DJ Lady Staliet was thirteen she was Dee Jaying at friends and classmates birthday parties and small family functions. She then started up an all girl DJ crew with her two closest friends and two girl cousins who called themselves ‘The Imperial Nemesis’. The group lasted and continued to DJ until 2004 when DJ lady Staliet Migrated to the U.S (Phoenix, Az) breaking up the crew forever. It wasn’t too long before until DJ Lady Staliet decided to go solo and started Dee Jaying again. Three years later, DJ Lady Staliet graduated from High school and decided to go to College in Georgia. There she met up with the right people who got her back in the spotlight. Coming fresh out of Trinidad where you would hear native sounds such as Soca, calypso and reggae, DJ Lady Staliet meet a very diverse group of friends in college who not only shared their cultural background with her but introduced her to their music. This here gave DJ Lady Staliet a whole new musical identity. Now known as the DJ with an international sound, where and when ever you see DJ Lady Staliet, its not unusual if you hear her spinning tunes out of genres like Soca, Calypso, Chutney, Reggae, Dancehall, Reggaeton, ZOuk, Kompa, Kizomba, Soukous, Punta, Coupe Decale.
