For those who are connecting with me after a lifetime away - my maiden name is Schmunk ... does that help? I can't believe that I've gone and joined the world of myspace ... but hey - if you can't fight 'em, join 'em. About me? Well, I married a good guy, Lu, and am going to be celebrating 10 years of marriage next year. Who'd of thought??!! Time flies ... and I'm a new mom to Josiah William, born on January first ... pretty cool having a New Years baby - tons of prizes. I also have a 2 year old, Mattias Antonio who is the LIGHT of my life. He's such a great kid, makes us laugh, makes me BURST. I love music, and still teach piano a bit. I've got the greatest bunch of students - so hard to let go of them! But will have to one day, I suppose. What else? I guess right now all I'm trying to do is get some sleep ... a newborn has a way of putting bags under your eyes ... What I really wish is that I'd have a bit more time to exercise the "song-writing" muscle ... there never seems to be enough time to do all that I'd like - but that's ok. It's a season and I'm trying to savour the NOW rather than wish it away ... soon enough, my little ones will be bigger than me (not a great feat, however)...

My Interests

worship & music, cooking, photography, traveling, scrapbooking (what can I say - I'm a mom!!), and need I say that ALL of these things are better when done with/for my husband & kids. Kids. WOW - who said that???

I'd like to meet:

Hmmmm ... ANYone?? Well - let's see ... if it even includes those who are no longer here, I'd like to meet Princess Diana, Jackie Kennedy, Dr.Oz (from the Oprah show (GRIN)), Martin Smith, Darlene Zschech and my grandmother Esther who passed away before I was born ... and come to think of it, Queen Esther in the Bible would probably be an interesting conversation over a chai tea ... I realized later that I never said, "Jesus". But hey - I thought that was a given ...

Music:

John Mayer, Maroon5, U2, JT, Sting, Sade, Gypsy Kings, Deliriou5, Tim Hughes, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Natalie Grant, Harry Connick Jr., Michael Buble ...This past November I had the PRIVILEGE of being apart of our "all orginal music" worship CD at my church, CLA. I contributed 2 tunes, and had an amazing time being apart of the project. The Dreaded Haircut ...

So - here we are in Phoenix ... our son, Mattias, has pink eye and we have to literally hold him down to get the drops in ... our other son, Josiah, is getting up every 1-2 hours at night ... I'm tire...
