I am here for Friends

About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

I grew up outside of Kansas City, MO, in a little town called, Raytown. I attended and graduated from Blue Ridge Christian School in 2003. Which seems like a lifetime ago. I worked at Starbucks for several years, apprenticed a pastry chef, wrote a business plan for a coffeeshop and all of that is preparation, little did I realize for my next big move in life. Cafe Terra Nova, a coffeeshop in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I am moving there this October to explore church planting with a group of my friends, the Swains and the Baileys, and to take on the role of manager, eventually, when I can actually speak Spanish. So until then, I am living in my 100 year old house, with 5 other girls, and other visitors this summer. I play the role of Lulu's Hawaiian Ice manager, house cleaner, baby-sitter, barista in my various jobs. I have a garden that is growing strong and I love to weed and water it, looking forward to the day that I get to make amazing food from things that I have grown myself. I love my life. I have the best of friends and my heart is alive and kicking.
