Influences: Born and raised in Glens Falls New York, Phil Camp has been entertaining the hometown crowds for over thirty years. A founding member of the local eighties favorite touring band "Panache", nineties' dance band "Dr. Gators Medicine Show", and the new milleniums' "The Joe Mama Band," Phil impresses his audiences with years of touring experience. With weekly local appearances, two CD's of original music, It's quite likely you've already seen or heard Phil 's music. Local radio and TV stations have featured Phil and his bands with a number of his original tunes. Phil music has been heard and previewed on 95.9's "Community Cafe Music hour", WEQX's "Exposure", 100.3 The Point's "Glens Falls Rock" local Music show, "North Country Public Radio" compilation CD, several live appearances with the Joe Mama Band on TV8's 8Trax, awarded third place in the "Post Star's" readers best of the region solo, acoustic duo, and two solo live appearances on "RadioLakeGeorge.com".Honing his guitar skills as he has toured throughout New England, Phil's soloing techniques truly have to be seen. His command of the fret board and soulful vocals have evolved into a an acoustic show that has grown into one of the Glens Falls regions favorites. With assistance from modern technology, Phil is able to loop guitar parts, sing full three part harmonies, all with the help of a few magic pedals. Currenty Phil is updating his playlist with a vast array of artists. John Mayer, Johnny Cash, John Mellencamp, The Everly Brothers, Collective Soul, Nirvana, Eric Clapton, the Beatles and a few of his own tunes are a few such examples of his extensive setlists. With over a hundred originals penned and two CDs to his credit, Phil draws from life experiences that people can identify with in his writings.
