[fastMo..s Biography / English Version Below]Fast Mo, mit Bürgerlichem Namen Pierre Meyer, wurde am 19.08.1979 in Brake (Niedersachsen) geboren. Nach einer turbulenten Jugend und einigen besuchen in Clubs und Discotheken verfiel er Mitte 1997 der Elektronischen Musik, oder besser gesagt, dem können der Dj..s. Nach kurzen Überlegungen stand fest, auch er wolle die Leute mit seiner Musik und seinem Mixing beeindrucken. Nach anfänglicher Geschmacks suche war klar dass es Techno sein muss. Nicht irgendein Techno sondern etwas Melodisches aber doch hartes, manchmal verwirrendes aber doch klar, so kam er zu seinem Lieblings Label „TRESOR“, welches seinen heutigen Style aus Wonky-, Hard-, Chicago-, Ghettotech, Minimaltechno und normalem Techno prägte. Nachdem ordentlich Platten gekauft und das Equipment besorgt waren, ging die Übungsserie los. Inspirationen wurden von Christian Vogel, Surgeon, Pacou und später auch Marco Remus, Dj Mahatma Dj Bam Bam, Dj Deeon, Dj Funk. Mark Hawkins und Thorsten Kanzler eingeholt. Die ersten Monate quälte er Freunde und bekannte mit seinen Mixen, bis hin zum ersten guten Set. Dieses wurde auch anerkannt und so war der erste Resident Job sicher. Zudem bekam er durch seine Freunde den Spitznamen „Mo“ verpasst, aus dem sich im laufe der nächsten Monate „fast Mo“ entwickelte. Schuld daran war wohl sein schnelles Mixing denn ein Übergang jagte den nächsten und so waren 30-35 Tracks in der Stunde keine Seltenheit.1998/..99 war dann fast Mo Regional bekannt durch seine Abwechslungsreichen und harten Sets in der Metropole Jabben(Resident von ..98 – 2001) sowie dem WERK2, dem ehem. Area51 u.a. Aber nur Regional die Leute zu begeistern war doch nicht alles, also nahm er an zahlreichen Contests teil, bewarb sich bei Clubs und Diskotheken. Was Ihn auch hin und wieder mal quer durch Deutschland jagte. Mittlerweile hat er 2001, durch einen Contest Gewinn auf der Nature One aufgelegt, 2001 am Love Parade Weekend im Hof23 gespielt, 2003 im Fusion Club Münster, 2003 in Schwerin auf dem Sinus Digital Festival und 2004/2005 im Tresor Berlin, 2006 im PlanB in Passau, im Rahmen eines DJ Contests und dazwischen zahlreiche Bookings in und um die Region.Seit 2001 produziert fast Mo seine Eigenen Tracks, welche hin und wieder von CD in seinen Sets auftauchen. Zu einem Release kam es bei Ihm erstmalig im Dezember 2006. Das Label Soundthology erkannte seine fähigkeiten und presste seinen ersten Track auf Vinyl. Auch macht er seine eigenen Veranstaltungen wie seine monatlichen Techno Partys in seinem Wohnort Oldenburg. Und jedes Jahr wieder gibt’s seine „DA DIRTY GROOVES“ Partys in verschiedenen Städten und Locations mit immer besseren und bekannteren Acts wie Thomas. P. Inspirations were caught up by Christian Vogel, Surgeon, Pacou and later also Marco Remus, Dj Mahatma , Dj Bam Bam, Dj Deeon, Dj Funk, Mark Hawkins and Thorsten Kanzler. He tormented the first months friends and confessed with his mixes, up to the first good set. This was also recognised and thus the first Resident job was sure. Besides, he got by his friends the nickname "Mo" missed from which to itself in " fastMo " runs of the next months developed. Guilt for it was probably his quick Mixing then a crossing hunted the next and thus 35-40 tracks at the hour were no rarity.Then from the in 1998 to the in '99 fastMo was known On the regional level by his diverse and hard sets in the metropolis of Jabben (Resident from '98 - in 2001) as well as the WERK2, to the former Area51 was to be inspired among other things, however, only On the regional level the people, nevertheless, not everything, so he took part in numerous contests, applied at clubs and discos. What hunted Him also every now and then sometimes straight through Germany. In 2001 profit on the Nature One could hang up fastMo by a contest, in 2001 in the Love play parade weekend in the Hof23, in 2003 in the Fusion club Münster, in 2003 in Schwerin on the Sinus Digitally festival and in 2004/2005 in the Tresor Berlin, in 2006 in the plan B in Passau, within the scope of a DJ contests and in between numerous Bookings in and around the region.Since 2001 fastMo produces his own tracks which appear every now and then from CD in his sets. To a release it came with Him first in February, 2007. The label Soundthology Records know his abilities and pressed his first track on vinyl. Also he does his own Events/Parties like his monthly Techno parties in his Hometown Oldenburg. And there is every year again his "DA DIRTY GROOVES" parties in different cities and Locations with better and better and more known Acts like Thomas. P.
