About Me

Contact Tables

The Grafters were formed in the long, hot summer of 2006, when a brave wandering minstrel going by the name Toonster The Bold sung at a karaoke and was approached by a mysterious stranger called Gary. The stranger handed Toonster the phone numbers of two like minded, slightly alternative young men called Sparky and Rogan whispering go forth and make sweet, beautiful music. They got together and collectively armed only with a handful of broken guitars, a set of sticks and some clapped out drums, they set out to take Wallyford by musical force. Fortunately coming from Ormiston Toonster didn't have to wander his heed very far at all. So they jammed furiously but lacked a vital ingredient- the low res elixer of bass. At a drunken banquet hosted by Toonster, an intoxicated Beeswax said "eh I've got a bass in the hoose. I'm nae McCartney but I'll come down an play if you want." Turns out he was the missing link! So having written some cracking tunes and with most of Scotland under their belts, The Grafters are heading to a town near you. Keep an eye out and drop in to say Slainte Mhor....
