Inspired by her Italian father who introduced her to opera and classical music she started in children choirs at the age of nine, until she got private singing lessons from Elisabeth Fischer at the age of 13.Convinced of her talent Ms. Fischer motivated her to make the exam for a scholarship, which supports young talents with the aim to study music. Katrina successfully passed and additionally to the singing lessons, received piano and theory lessons.In 2006, after having graduated from grammar school Katrina started studying at the ArtEZ Popacademie in Enschede, the Netherlands.
Since she is back from her exchange semester to the Jazz Department of Liceu's Conservatory in Barcelona, Spain she is majoring in singing, songwriting and music management.
