Black Bear lives and creates music from his habitat on the outskirts of Melbourne. Originally hailing as a drummer for 8 years, Black Bear began evolving his skills to that of the guitar, percussion, harmonica, glockenspiel, melodica, and any type of toy instruments he could muster.Black Bear is inspired by many things: music, art, the outdoors, love, romance and friends. He uses these things to create beautiful, romantic folk-country style songs that get into your heart and soul and make you ‘feel’. Black Bear’s lyrics are poetic, love songs, incorporating stories, with conversations and songs written entirely as scripts, giving the listener an added insight into the thoughts of the characters in the song and the artist that created them.
