Sozinho, de um quarto em sua casa para o mundo. É assim que o guitarrista Daniel Ruiz trabalha. O músico que compôs diversas trilhas sonoras para espetáculos de teatro e dança lança o primeiro single de seu trabalho instrumental intitulado "46°".
Sob forte influência da música eletrônica, Daniel Ruiz apresenta, nas duas faixas que compõem o single, “46°” e “Dora”, uma gama de inusitados timbres de guitarra, fazendo seu instrumento soar em alguns momentos como tudo menos uma guitarra. Somam-se a isto, elementos rítmicos da diversificada cultura brasileira.
Daniel compôs, produziu, gravou e tocou todos os instrumentos em seu próprio homestudio. A mixagem e masterização ficaram a cargo de Enrico De Paoli (www.enricodepaoli.com). Também incluído no CD-single, como uma faixa bônus, está o canal de bateria da música “46°” para que DJ’s e produtores, profissionais e amadores, possam utilizar esta batida a sua maneira.
Following a long and ever-growing tradition of loners in music production, brazilian guitarrist Daniel Ruiz works by himself in a small room at home creating music for the outside world. It’s from there that Daniel wrote and recorded music scores for theatre and dance pieces over the last four years, and now delivers the first single of his solo instrumental works entitled “46°”.
Under heavy influence of electronica’s beats and bleeps, Ruiz presents a variety of distinguished and unusual guitar tones, making his instrument at times sound like anything but a guitar. All that played on top of rhythm elements taken from Brazilian multi-cultural background.
The guitarrist who wrote, produced, recorded and played all the instruments in these tracks at his own homestudio called engineer Enrico De Paoli (www.enricodepaoli.com) to be in charge of mixing and mastering. Also available in the CD-single, is the drums track for “46 °” (that’s 115° farenheit for you folks wondering), which Daniel programmed while playing around with loops on his computer and now offers for amateurs and pro DJ’s and producers to take their shot at it.
