Sweet Dreams Band was founded 6/01/1984 in Charlotte, NC.
Founding members were: Fred "Funki" Mills,
Michael Porter
and Dwain Mitchell.
The band performs R&B, Old School, Originals and Jazz.
Sweet Dreams is also involved in Educational presentation, seminars and workshops as it relates to Afro-American Music History, Performance and Production.
From the conception of Sweet Dreams, the band has performed throughout the Southeast at various Clubs, Arenas, High School, Universities, Festivals, Corporate and Organizational functions. Partial listing of Sweet Dreams Clients:
