Thought I'd change my writing on this page a bit since I now have the world wide web in my living room, amd although I've been busier than a one armed feather stacker in a hurricane with my work and college and new band, getting online proved to be difficult and for that I apologise but no longer have an excuse!! For those who don't know but care, my name is Mark Butt an average rock guitar player from Wishaw who started out playing blues, progressing into rock and metal and dabbling with jazz and country but not really getting the hang of any of the above! For those of you who care but don't know, I graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music down South in Sunny Guildford (where they breed hot burds and ship them out to cities all over Britain! (for those who care!)) with an HND in all things related to guitar playing! For those who don't know or particularly care, Guthrie Govan is the man! as is Bumblefoot, Greg Howe, Ritchie Kotzen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani,zzzzzzzz Dave Kilminster, Mike Stern, Yngwie Malmsteen, zzzzzz, John Petrucci, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Big Tam zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Everyone should care that i got into a new band called Forevervoid, very loud, very metal, nearly progressive and lots of fun!! Check em out at www.myspace.com/forevervoid for a wee taster!! Anyone who cares to listen should take note that I'm currently looking for a bassist and drummer to do some jamming with, looks don't affect me much but you must be able to play to a reasonable level. I'm looking to start a bluesy based, jazz rock group, if your interested then bell me through this! Big mad bad Andy Broon is currently building me my very own Tennants Lager guitar, which will be a truly unique thing on shape alone, let alone all the things we're adding onto it!!
