I am a bit of a Utility. I’ve worked almost every blue collar position on set. My main specialty is working in the “Camera Dept.” I started young as a artsy photographer (more like shutter bug). I now have experience working every position from video assist to Cinematographer. I also make a great AC or hand held camera operator. Lighting naturally follows my camera skills. I enjoy working the grip/lighting dept. and love the smell of tungsten in the morning. Around the time I started photography. I suffered from teenage angst. I vented by playing guitar and bass in various punk & metal bands. Then I started beating on a blue tascam 4 track recorder. So my ear for audio began. So now when I am not in the camera dept, I work the “Sound Dept,” as a mixer or boom operator. (sometimes both depending on the gig) When I’m not on set, I am at home working on my Avid video editing suite. I am now trying to get more experience working in the “Art dept.” Since I have worked various different depts, I know what to do to make other peoples job easier. No matter what goes wrong on set, I make a lot of effort to remain clam & positive. So give me a try. You won’t be disappointed.
