About Me

Launchpad has taken off again with new unsigned bands to play every week in Madhatters within Hootanannys. The emphasis being on giving new and unsigned bands the chance to play in front of a knowledgeable and up for it crowd. This is a chance to see the future today!! Despite the bands not being paid they will receive a written review within the ICA. They will also be considered for future gigs within Hoots and elsewhere. There are showcase nights planned for the future with the best band being guaranteed at least four gigs in Hoots. The whole package if the band is successful is worth at least £1000. The showcase nights we will try to invite people from the industry to run the rule over the best of the best.If there is any bands who would like to take part please phone Steven Leighton on 07707 952679 or send a demo for the attention of Steven to Hootanannys Church Street, Inverness.Any alternative Djs wishing the chance to play can also get in touch with the same details above as there is a Dj slot after the bands play. By alternative I mean from rock, funk, punk to ska, anything goes!!!!
