Hey my name is Kasey Hardin. Im 20 and i live in Hawaii. Im stationed at Fort Shafter with the 311th Signal Command Theater. I love being a soldier. Everyday i wake up not knowing what the day is going to be like and everyday is an adventure. Being a soldier is the greatest job ever. I joined to make sure that my family and friends can continue to live freely and not have to be afraid to go to sleep at night. My battle buddies are the best. They stick by my side no matter what. Through thick and thin we will ride it out till the end. I LOVE FOOTBALL!! Im a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and so is the rest of my family. Im originally from Texas and all of my family is there too. Im very much a country girl and i always will be. I love BIG trucks, the bigger and louder the better, I love COUNTRY MUSIC,but ill listen to just about anything. Im extremely free spirited and im always in a good mood. Im not afraid to get dirty, in fact i actually prefer it. Thats one of the things i miss most about home is wakin up, gettin on a four wheeler and spending hours in the mud. Being in the Army theres always a way to get dirty... I love God and everything he has blessed me with.A wonderful life, an amazing family, a very successful career, and a beautiful place to live. Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places in the world. If i have to be away from home im glad its here. Im still learning a lot about the island. There are so many things i want to see and do...The local food is ok but i prefer to cook for myself... cooking for a lot of people, a few people, Christmas, Thanksgiving, you name it. I try to spend a lot of time at the beach. Havent learned to surf yet but its on the To-Do List. My family is very special to me. I wish i could be closer to them but Duty calls. They support me with all i choose to do and they always will. I especially miss my horses back home. They are my babies and i love them so much.
