Influences: Direct influences on songwriting style are a lot fewer than I first thought but numerous people inspire me. People who made an impact are Evan Dando (without him - I'd have no guitar), Tom Morgan (of Smudge - without him I'd have no songs of my own), the beautiful music of Daniel Lanois (for the love of language and imagery and for hope), Ben Lee, Ben Kweller (for self-belief and the freedom to expression), Neil Finn, Joe Pernice (for the art of scanning) and maybe Jonathan Richman. So maybe these influences are imperceptible in what I've done so far but as I write more I feel that they're bound to surface eventually. Anyway, I'm not one for long lists - who bothers to read them?I have a few more songs to put up - I just need time I haven't got to record them.
Sounds Like: Hard for me to say.
Record Label: Let's be realistic:no-one is fooling anyone here!

Lanois

I didn't record this with a view to putting it up on YouTube - I did it for myself to rehearse but felt some of the people over at Lanois forum would appreciate it so that's why it's up. My headless C...

Clocks, "Junior" and sleep
